VOICE LESSONS​

Ms. Custino specializes in teaching students in grades TK-12, but is also available to teach college-aged and adults students at the beginner to intermediate level. When taking voice lessons with Ms. Custino, instruction will be focused on:
  • Breath support & awareness
  • Using your physical body to support your instrument
  • Pitch knowledge & accuracy
  • Age-appropriate vocal techniques
  • Age-appropriate repertoire
  • Building musical skills & literacy
  • Making music-learning a positive experience

HONOR CHOIR SPONSORSHIP

For students who are actively working with Ms. Custino, she offers sponsorship for SCVA and/or ACDA honor choirs. All students must meet a baseline level of knowledge determined by Ms. Custino to be considered for sponsorship, but their ultimate participation in the choir will be determined by the hosting organization (based on the student's audition). Ms. Custino does not have any influence over acceptance into these ensembles.

  • Audition Preparation
  • Audition Recording (if pre-screen is required)
  • Repertoire Rehearsal

Ms. Custino offers supplemental tutoring or stand-alone instruction to all students aged 8+ in the following areas:
  • Sight-singing and Ear Training (Aural Skills)

  • AP Music Theory Exams
  • Beginning Piano
  • Beginning Conducting
  • Songwriting

The length of a lesson will depend on the age and current skill level of a student. It is also possible to incorporate multiple disciplines listed above into one lesson time-slot.
